I found a fix. Once model is imported, going to settings-model and changing the horizontal separation value here, followed by a rebuild. For some reason the value here was 100mm, and even though i entered 300mm in construct dxf, the 100mm value seemed to be overriding it. A bug in the software ...

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere, but I wondered if there is something I'm missing. As per the FAQ article, I understand why this happens, but how do I either avoid it, or fix it?
