Hi, I'm having that problem now.
Some times, other error messages appear, like: " Apache terminated unexpectedly" ... It is very frustrating because there is no apparent error. I'm using the IES 2017 version.
Did you solve your problem?

PRM Sizing Runs
Hi all!,
I'm having trouble performing the PRM sizing runs in the IES V2017 for the baseline and proposed buildings.
After performing "Room Load Calculations" (no problems here), the software tells me that there are " Zoning issue detected: Unassigned zones present. Assign model zones to these ...

Baseline constructions and wrong Climate
Hi all,
I have a problem concerning the issue of when IES selects the wrong ASHRAE climate area ( 4 insted of 3 in my case).
I saw in the "knowledge database" that "... Thus even if the selected weather file exhibits a variant climate class the PRM baseline models will be as expected by ASHRAE 90.1 ...

Green roof with trees
Hi everyone,
I'm trying to simulate a building with a green-roof big (and deep) enough to have trees. How can I:
1-Insert the soil layer in the construction?
2-How can I put trees there? Do their shades have a significant impact on solar gain loads?
Thank you!!

HVAC different from vista
Hi everyone!
I have a question: I´m doing a simple exercise and in the HVAC, I put all the heating coils as electric but 1 for an experimentation. I put that one as a boiler (89% eff) and then I ran the simulation in AHSRAE loads. The problem is that I can see in vista, that specific (heating) coil ...
