Unfortunately it didn't do all of it. I'm trying to find a way where I can compute the temperature of the exterior finish face of the wall, i.e the face that receives direct sunlight.
It might not be possible since, as far as I know, IES only takes into account the room bounded by those walls, and ...

Exterior Surfaces Temperature
Hi. I'm testing some exterior cladding systems and their SRI's. I wanted to know if it's possible to calculate the exterior temperature of different surfaces based on the SRI they have.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Isolating more than one room
Please guys, I need this. If anyone of you knows anything about it please tell me. Am sure there is a way to show that airflow of more than one room at a time.

Isolating more than one room
Hello. I want to show the air movement in more than one room at a time in MicroFlo. I know how to do that with only one room isolated from the rest of the building, and I want to know how to do it with 4 or 5 rooms together. The reason why I want this is that I have cross ventilation through the ...

3D Solar Gain
Hello. I am working on a project and I want to show the solar gains of the surfaces in colors in a 3D view for the building. I have seen something similar done with Autodesk's Ecotect, and I would really love to do the same with IES. I hope that's possible.

Re: Big Shading Device
Thanks guys, I think I have figured it out. Seems like I wasnt understanding the Suncast. But now I do. I appreciate your help, cheers =)

Re: Big Shading Device
The simulation just finished, checking Suncast didn't make any difference. It still doesn't seem to recognize the shading panel.

Thanks ParkLife, it wasn't a silly question. Its now checked, and I'm running a simulation.

Re: Big Shading Device
Depending on how its constructed, it may not reduce the peak cooling load but it may only reduce the overall cooling energy . I.e. fins will not necessarily reduce the peak load as at that particular time when the sun is directly over the window, all the suns energy gets through. But when say the ...
