Hi,
I've noticed that the baseline model, when generated, does not include the adjacent buildings drawn in the proposed model. Is there a way to include these since I can't seem to be able to use ModelIT on the baseline model to modify it in any way.
Thanks!

Net R-value vs total R-value
Hi,
I'm trying to find out if the difference between the net and total R-value is the linear heat loss through the perimeter of the construction element.
Thanks!

AHU cooling coil maximum duty not showing correctly
Hi,
I've noticed that the cooling coil maximum duty (S3) shows 0 in the loads data table for my system (9). I've checked manually in ApacheHVAC and my AHU cooling coil has a 127 kW capacity.
For the AHU heating coil, the maximum duty (S4) shows exactly the same value as in ApacheHVAC, so no ...

Re: Energy use savings changed after saving as another file
I've remade all sizing runs along with solar shading calcs and the energy use savings went much lower then when running only the PRM simulation.
The end use energy increases in all areas except int/ext lighting, DHW, receptacle and elevators. Heating seem to increase the most.

Re: Energy use savings changed after saving as another file
If by ASHRAE fundamentals you mean "select ASHRAE standard" from the navigator menu, then this I've checked and its still 90.1-2007 selected.

Energy use savings changed after saving as another file
Hi,
I've noticed that when I "save as" an existing project, not make any modifications to it, and just run the PRM Simulation I get lower energy use savings than before.
I've observed this when I tried to change settings in my "saved as" model from an older model, but results yielded much lower in ...

Two chiller types in proposed model
Hi,
I'm trying to model my proposed system with two chillers having different COPs. One serves the building and the other serves the IT rooms.
Unfortunately I'm getting 50% increase in space heating energy use after modeling the IT rooms with the afferent high internal loads. I've cloned my ...
