Hi there,
Could you advise how the following would be best modeled in Apache HVAC + Macroflo?
RADIANT FLOOR:
ON < 16C OA Temp
OFF > 16C OA Temp
OPERABLE WINDOWS FOR NATURAL VENTILATION:
OPEN 16-26C OA Temp & < 70% RH
CLOSED Otherwise
ENERGY RECOVERY VENTILATOR:
OFF 16-26C OA Temp & < 70 ...

Model Sniff Check?
Hey there,
I'm part way through a model that will be simulating an ERV, radiant floors and natural ventilation for a single family home. Is anyone able to provide a quick sniff check of the model once I have it completed? Was planning to use ApacheSys + MacroFlo for the HVAC design.
Thanks!

Re: ERV Simulation?
So the best route is probably to go ApacheHVAC, then. I'll proceed that way. I'll also need to add in radiant flooring, which I believe can be handled by this module.

Re: Unmatched edges after partitioning
I think the problem might be with the fact that I'm trying to partition a space that already has a smaller space within it. the edges boarding this smaller space seem to have the unmatching problem. does that make sense?

Unmatched edges after partitioning
Hi folks,
I have an existing space that I'm trying to partition. It appears to partition successfully and snaps to the proper edges during the partition process. However, when I run the model report it shows that I have unmatched edges.
Any thoughts?

Re: ERV Simulation?
In fact, my model is pretty simple and I'm wondering if I can get away with using ApacheSys only? I'm using radiant floor heating, an ERV and natural ventilation, and hopefully no AC. Would this be able to be modelled in ApacheSys?

sniff check?
hi folks, would anyone be able to sniff check my sketchup model to make sure I did it correctly along with the room find? i'm still fairly new at this! thanks in advance!
