Re: Beginner needing a little help with a vaulted ceiling
having sketchup plug in will help you in modelling..
but if you want to do it modelIT, its sometimes become tricky.
What I usually do is to model the complicated one separately, in your case, try modelling roof and floor separately then just combine it later.

Re: Trouble Meeting heating set-point in the morning?
just my opinion,
when I'm making my own system, I start it simple with less controller (only the parameters) , to see if its working.
if it passed, then I'll add controller (sensor) bit by bit and check if it's still working. it may take time, but I know what or which is wrong if something goes off ...

Re: Poll: Building Template Manager Vs Tabular BTM
I prefer to use both, when staring the project I use template manager.
but as I progress, I use tabular for changing some data.

Re: Load Profile (Very high load at Very Short time)
if I will use a portion of 190 kW for 5 seconds, it will be 950 kJ, distributing across the 3 minutes. it will be like 5.3 kW.
..but using a portion, I will not be able to see the effect of the sudden spike in heat load, or how high the temp. rise will be.

Load Profile (Very high load at Very Short time)
Hi,
I'm doing some study, Its a Electrical Equipment Room, with very high loads for a very short period of time.
I've done it before but not with very short time, I mean the loads (190kW) only occur for 5 seconds every 3 minutes.
The profile manager in IES only manage load per minute.
Any Idea ...

Hi,
I have a complicated looking tower, and then I decided to create partition inside the tower, I always check the modeilIT report for any inconsistencies, I manage to finish it without any problem, suncast and apacheload are also okay, but when I try to do Apachesim, it has error of external ...
