Hi guys,
is there a way to create a material for a PV glazing?
I have an amorphous PV technology integrated between the panes of the outer glazing of a DGU.
Is there a way to define the percentage of the glazing not covered by PV and the one that is transparent? For example, I have a 30 ...

Hi everybody,
I was wondering why VistaPro provides a different results visualization when input data being equal.
I'll try to explain better.
I'd like to display the same variable (i.e. Operative Temperature) for different cases (that is, for different file .aps) using different colors, in order ...

Re: Variable Colour Scale
Hi everybody,
is it possible in Variable Colour Scale to change the range of the scale?
Looking at Operative Temperature of a room, for example, Model Viewer II sets a too narrow range between 19°C and 24°C.
Is it possible to extend it, even according to the resulting calculations?
Thank you ...

Another related question guys..
Is there a manner to simulate an ETFE rooflight?
I have this doubt because I don't understand whether IES realizes that ETFE, differently from glass, transmits part of the longwave radiation.

Emissivity for glazing units
Hi everybody,
I was wondering which is the proper way to set internal and external emissivity for each layer of a glazing unit.
When I insert a different emissivity value (both on the outer and inner face of the internal pane) in the CDB dialogue, nothing is going to change at all.

Re: TM52 Adaptive Comfort: Criteria failing
Thank you Wasted,
I checked with the Ta you said, and there are no hours with Ta>28°C (the building is in Montreal, with a huge openable and shaded skylight).
Given the following recommendation from the CIBSE TM52 Comfort Analysis of IES VE manual:
"A room or building that fails any two of the ...

Thank you Wasted.
But yes, I have run simulation annually and the three rooms posted are occupied (setting People as internal gains).
Is there such a way to select a specific period for the adaptive comfort calculation?

Re: missing components in library?
Hi everybody,
in my Components folder I don't find ANY component with the .mcl extension.
Could you please explain why?
And, another question: can I delete the only file (project_name.mcl) I have in veExport, being likely (as I read in this forum) the cause of the VE MFC has stopped working pop ...
