Re: Transparent insulation materials (TIM)
Hi,
I think you best option if you want to consider the solar gain is just to use a double glazed unit or Translucent shade object in VE 2019 and modify the properties according. You will find some details on matching manufacturers data in the back of the Apache constructions database user guide ...

Re: Accessing Baseline data - no ASHRAE 90.1 navigator
Hi David,
Are you able to switch to baseline model view via View menu- Model- PRM baseline? If you are able to do it, then I think you can check the thermal datas assigned to the baseline model and also check vista results.

Rishikesh

Hi Aditya,
To fix it you could try running “fix” on the model. Simply select the full model in ModelIT, enter “fix=5” in the ModelIT key-in field and then hit enter.
If that does not help, then select the problem room and this time enter “tidy” in the ModelIT key-in field and hit enter on your ...

Re: ASHRAE 90.1 2007 Pressure Drop Adjustment
Hi David,
Once you update the Pressure drop adjustment, make sure you tick to tab Update baseline fan sizing data in the PRM workflow step.
Hope this helps,

Rishikesh

Re: IESVE beginner trying to model flat roof
Hi,
Yes, create a separate prism for the roof and parapet and end up assigning that geometry the appropriate envelope characteristics to simulate the roof.

Rishikesh

Re: Switch a project from ApSystems to ApacheHVAC
Hi Edwin,
The easiest way to change the methodology is via Building template manager for assigned thermal templates.
You can also opt to set the default methodology you wish via Settings menu in ModelIT- HVAC methodology.

Rishikesh
