Random Energy Sources and Uses nan

I'm querying the energy sources and end-uses for some custom reports and it seems to randomly fail to grab any data.

I'll run the script once just fine, and then I'll run it again with no changes and I get no data, all end-uses nan.
It seems to happen at random.

I'm working in VE19.1.
