Hello
Go to ModelIT, then click down to the lowest level of the walls (there are 3 levels, whole building, room and wall). Then you have to draw the windows by clicking on the "Draw window" icon, and voila you got yourself your window ;). Then afterwards you can change the window to the type of ...

Re: Changing wall thickness
You might say it barely changes anything, but trust me, it can be a hell to get a larger plan to fit correctly if you dont use inner volumes. If you have a lot of smaller rooms combined with a larger room, either the smaller rooms become larger or the large room will be a lot smaller. I think inner ...

Re: Apach sim sensors
Hey
Sorry for the late answer, only at work once a week. Yes the entire line with ramp should be inserted in AP profile and then use it as a profile.

Re: Apach sim sensors
In the type: Florescent lighting there is an option for dimming to the right, right below variation profile for your lighting.

Re: Apach sim sensors
-Make a profile in AP profile
For the time of use: ramp(e1,0,1,200,0) if 200 lux is the lux needed in the room.
Put it in the internal gains as a dimming profile.
I havent used this much, so im not 100 % sure about the profile, so Phil could probably tell some more about it.

Hello
How does your lighting profiles look like? The only affect the sensor apache sim has is on dimming, if you are using dimming profiles.

Re: Mezannine floor and rooms inside a factory building
Hello
From the way it sounds like you have built one big building and then trying to put smaller rooms into it. You should instead build the small rooms and then put the building around them. Also i would suggest that you build the factory in smaller "rooms", because IESVE only looks at one point ...

Re: How can I model the openings and walls of an atrium?
Hello
Well if it is like a wall below and then it is open out to the atrium i would just model it as a normale hole, because that is what it is. Also you should make sure that at least each floor in the atrium is its own "room", to make sure that the temperaturedifference up through the atrium is ...

Re: Radiance not running or producing odd results
This really has nothing to do with you problem, but you should use maximum quality when you need a "pretty" accurate investigation of the daylight. From my experience, the low quality can only be used to see if the room is completely dark somewhere, but wont tell you anything good about the specific ...

Same temperature in rooms next to
Hello
What is the best way to make sure there is no conduction gain/loss through the walls towards next to the room you want to simulate? I have tried both "adjacent building" and to set the temperature as ta, but doesnt give me a correct model.
