Unbalanced airflows
Hi,
I am getting 'Unbalanced flows' when I want to run the simulation on my model. There seems to be missing some flow out as the message indicates a difference of -9.85 mi/s.
What is this due from?
Thanks!

MacroFlo: opening areas
Hello,
I have worked a few times with MacroFlo and still have a hard time understanding the logic behind opening areas! Is there a trick? If I have a top-hung window that measures 0.70m wide by 1.60m high, and it cannot be opened more than 100mm due to security issues, what then is the openable ...

Glass Blocks
Hello,
I have external glass blocks to add to a model (190x190x160). I have modelled them as windows in ModelIT to which I would like to modify the parameters in Apache under construction materials. However, how do I modify the parameters of a window to represent glass blocks (i.e. by including ...

Re: VE 5.9.2 - Can't seperate space
Phil,
I have VE version 5.9.2 and don't see this menu arrow 'surface' tab you're referring to (?).
Also, in order to make a Daylight Factor analysis, the individual spaces on a floor have to be connected (with holes) for there to have an overall floor analysis, is this correct?
Thanks,
Caroline

Re: Radiance 'file corrupt'
Phil,
Thank you for your reply. I think the issue was about the eye/focus pointing at the floor... but am not quite sure at 100% as I have another problem... Please see my most recent post "VE 5.9.2 - connect/ seperate space".
Thanks,
Caroline

VE 5.9.2 - Can't seperate space
Hello,
I'm given a model of three floors where the individual spaces on each floor seem to be already connected as I don't have access to 'connect spaces' option when I drill down to each surface. But, on the other hand, if I am able to click each individual surface, doesn't this mean the rooms ...

Radiance 'file corrupt'
Hello all,
I have tried to simulate a very simple model in Radiance for a daylight factor distribution. I am working with VE 5.9.2. I have left the working plane at default along with the image quality. I've chosen the CIE overcast sky and left the default date. I tried to generate an image with ...
