Hi Mark,

Wind Direction (East of North) is simply the direction from which the wind is blowing, measured clockwise from true north.

Hi Mansour,

This is a known issue that occurs the first time you run Radiance after installing or reinstalling the VE. The VE is trying to check the registry entry before it has been set. It sets it as soon as you click OK on the second error message box. You will not see the message again after ...

You need to make sure SketchUp has the correct path to the VE. To set this, load SketchUp and Go to Tools > IES > Set IES VE Location. This will open a dialog where you need to browse to the location of ve.exe. On a Windows machine this is normally the C:\Programs Files (x86)\IES\VE 64 ...

Hi Santiago,

The problem with the Suncast error is the tolerance check between SunCast and Apache is slightly different and it sees the model as having changed (which it hasn’t).

The 6.3 release has the bypass option which lets you run anyway so if you are sure the model hasn’t changed then ...
