Re: Can't Open Models on My Desktop
I have also the same problem. But mine doesn't have any decimal point and it is saved directly in C:. After checking the adjacency, the software prompts "Failed to open document". Can you help with it? Btw, I am using the latest version of IES.

Re: How does IES calculates the U-value for ground-contact floor
You also have to take into consideration the temperature you have to use for the ground, because if not IES will just use the outside temperature you have specified in APlocate. I am still don't know though what is the use of characteristic dimension. If you are using F-factor Method, isn't it that ...

Humidifcation/Dehumidification of Pre-treated Air Handling U
I have a system wherein all of my fcu are supplied by one PAHU.And this PAHU has a temperature setpoint. After I run the ASHRAE Loads calculation, I noticed that the dehumidification/humidification of outside air is only done in the fcu and not with the PAHU. It only shows auxiliary vent. sensible ...

U-value for Vertical & Sloped Glazing
My model has a vertical walls & sloped walls (varies from 10deg to 60deg from vertical) with glazing. In the building template manager under constructions, I used only 1 type of wall and glazing for everything. My questions is, will the U-value change by itself for walls/glazing with different ...

Re: unmatched adjacencies and non planar surfaces
Actually, the intersection warnings is within my GEM model and not with the existing model where working on since they have completely different elevations. Anyway, i think turning off the intersection will help me with importing the model. I'll try it first and give you feedback. With regards to ...

unmatched adjacencies and non planar surfaces
I have checked my model geometry and there are warnings about unmatched adjacencies and non-planar surfaces. How does the unmatched adjacencies and non planar surfaces affects the calculation? How can I avoid these problems?

Tidy command
How can tidy command help us in the modelling? How can we use it? Can we also use it to fix missing surfaces in the geometry?
