Thank you.. :) the problem is that I want to simulate a balcony which has blinds drawn at midday. (So there will be a shaded air pocket between the balcony blinds and the window.) This cant be done in the constructions 'balcony' section. :( would appreciate any suggestions.

changing air speed - pl help!

Is there a way to change air speed within a room (to simulate the effect of a ceiling fan)?
The only air speed I can find is the one in 'comfort settings' but that of course does not work for this.
Please could someone help!

modelling a shaded balcony

Hi,
I want to simulate a room with windows opening onto an open balcony(which is shaded with shutters at midday).
Should I build the balcony as a separate adjacent room with huge permanently open windows? or use the balcony option in the window construction database on the room?

Thanks :) You're right, Microflow does have an internal and external CFD analysis. But I do not know how to integrate the outputs of the Microflow analysis with the Macroflow to get a more realistic thermal comfort report.
