Re: CIBSE 2016 Weather Files

Hi,
Does anyone know why you can't get them from CIBSE at the moment? It looks like they have been (temporarily?) withdrawn.

Re: Modelling Frit Glazing

Tom,

I'm running an overheating simulation at the moment to test a fritted coating on the inner pane of a unit with solar film on the outer. A 50% white dot pattern is reducing G-value of a 70/35 DG unit to 0.28. VLT drops to 46%. I have obtained these sample calculations from a manufacturer and ...

CBDM results for schools

Does anyone have much experience getting good results for sDA and UDI from single side glazed classrooms? I'm struggling to meet the FOS criteria for north facing rooms, even with higher than default surface reflectances, but have been informed by a contractor that the amount of glazing proposed has ...

Re: Condensation Analysis

I have just been carrying out an interstitial condensation risk analysis and the link below, taken from a previous post, suggests VCL membranes have resistivity of 120 with foil going to around 4000 max. These would be the values directly entered into the constructions in IES.

I would also like to see this function. Any plans to make the whole CBDM process more streamlined?
