Re: Meaning of "Ground Contact Wall" & "Ground Contact Floor"
Hi,
I think these are for the rooms below ground, i.e. at the basement levels. They are in contact with the ground but are not exposed.

Re: unmatched adjacencied when adding holes
Hello,
Thanks for the replies.
I've tried the "Rebuild", nothing happened. Unmatched adjacencies are still there. I will upgrade to 6.4.0.7, and will advise you guys what happens. Thanks.

unmatched adjacencied when adding holes
Hi!
Why do I get unmatched adjacencies when I put holes between the rooms? The store is divided into several room types (zones) but they are not separated by a wall (thus the holes). The adjacency issues only comes up when I add in 100% holes into the partition walls. But when I leave at least 10 ...

Re: Create target construction
Hi Phil,
Thanks for the reply. What I mean is, in the Create target construction tab, you can input the u-value that you want, say, 0.504 W/(m²-K), but how about the corresponding cM value? How do you determine this, or can you just accept the default value for it?
Thanks,
Xye

Create target construction
Hi!
I'd like to ask about the Project constructions > Tools tab.
How do you specify/determine a value for the Target cM value?
Thanks,
Xye

Re: modelling typical floors
Hi Phil,
Thanks for the response. I've figured out the solution to the problem. I just have to change the building fabric u-values, as the instability occurs when there's too much heat gain in the room.
Thanks,
Xye

PIR Sensors to control artificial lighting
Hello!
I'd like to ask how to do a profile using PIR (Passive Infrared) Sensors (motion detection) to control the artificial lighting?
Many thanks,
Xye

Re: modelling typical floors
Hi Phil,
Thanks for the response. I wonder if you have encountered this error message:
"Error: Instability in room B1. Possible remedies: reduce time step; set control radiant fraction to 0; check gain and ventilation levels; reduce Macroflo opening areas."
I did all the suggested remedies but I ...
