Defining Surrounding Building in a Site Plan for Suncast

Hello,
I'm willing to render a suncast model of a site and interested to see what is the effect of shading from all the sourrounding buildings in that site. I've constructed all the buildings, road network and everything that surrounds my site.

I'm just wondering what properties shall I define to ...

I used the components, checked the surface properties, nothing worked but when I use it with my friend's laptop everything shows up, I mean the chairs, the tree everything shows up. I don't know what to do...:(

Shall I reinstall my student version of IES again? Will that help?
Or I need to format ...

Hello,
I've recently bought IES VE student version and wanted to do some radianceIES rendering with COMPONENTS.
However when I render it doesn't render the COMPONENTS at all. The model is a school model with desks, chairs & a tree outside the room. All of my course mate has performed the same ...

I find the tutorials section is the weakest in IES VE

Hello,
I've recently bought IES student version. And struggling to learn IES by the tutorials shipped within the package itself.

I've used Ecotect and learned a lot only by the tutorials listed in Ecotect's web page, that is what missing with IES. May be IES developer has to look into the works ...
