Hi again,
I started using APHVAC in v6.0.2. The program has definitely improved since then. It crashed alot back then. For example, whenever I selected a component within a multiplex and moved it, the program crashed. Also, it could crash by only saving changes made to a radiator. The problems that ...

Re: Problem using the multiplex function in HVAC-module
Hi Joseph,
I am having the same problem, also in v6.0.5, but with radiators (quite the same thing) and this was for a multiplex with 90 zones as well. It can take up to 1 min 45 sek until the edit window opens, but then, my computer is not as fast as yours I guess. Also, a strange thing happens ...

Supply air temperature as a function of exhaust air temp?
Hi all,
So, I am trying to model a room (or actually a bunch of rooms) in version 6.0.4, where the room supply air temperature is varying according to the exhaust air temperature. It can be described in the following way: if the exhaust room air temperature>22 degC, the supply air is 18degC, else ...

Re: Chilled/heated concrete slab ceiling
Hi guys,
I also found out the cooling/heating effect for the slabs so I figured that I can use a direct acting heater and vary the effect according to the outdoor temperature, using a ramp function. This will make things easier but will only work since I already know the effect. Lucky me. However ...

Re: Problem using the multiplex function in HVAC-module
Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
The cell below the multiplex was not involved in any way, I guess I had it selected when I was zooming.
Hm, well I eventually succeeded with creating the multiplexes, although it took a while to get there

Re: Problem using the multiplex function in HVAC-module
Hi Phil,
Thank you for your answer! I am running version 6.0.3. I finally managed to avoid it fram crashing and now I have completed the simulation. I am doing a simulation on a building which has about 190 zones so it might have been my coomputer that can't handle the large amount of data. I must ...

Chilled/heated concrete slab ceiling
Hi all,
I am modelling a building i HVAC (version 6.0.3) which is cooled/heated in a quite sofisticated way. The floors/ceilings is made up of a concrete slab which has embedded pipes. Water is running through the pipes, keeping the temperature between 18 degC (summer) and 22-23 degC (winter ...

Problem using the multiplex function in HVAC-module
Hi all,
(Almost) everytime I try to move a component within the multiplex which is just inside the zone (and attached to a room within the multiplex, see figure), I recieve an error message saying something like "the VE MFC Application has encountered a problem and needs to close". Is this a common ...
