I resolved. It was simple!
I created a system, called EVAP, with no fuel and a high SEER. Then I created a template in the Building Template Manager:
in System tab I inserted my new system 'EVAP'
in Room condition I defined:
Cooling Profile: on continuosly
SImulation Cooling Setpoint: Timed ...

Modeling simple evaporative cooling
Hello, I am trying to model a simple kind of evaporative cooling, but it seems difficult using HVAC.
This is exactly what I need to do:
I just would like to model a dummy room beside my analysis room, emulating a ceramic evaporative cooler, with an opening towards outside and another opening ...

Opaque rooflight (no glass)
Hi,
I am trying to model natural ventilation using a rooflight with the same construction layers of the roof, because I don't want solar gain.
How can I assign a different material than glass to the rooflight? Should I add a shutter always low?
Thank you so much

Best way to model floors
Hi,
I am modeling a three storey house, I am NOT using inner volumes. How should I draw the gap between level 0 ceiling and level 1 floor (the thickness of first floor)?
thanks,
PN

"Ap Sys aux" and "Ap Sys heat rej fans/pumps energy"
Hello, can anyone explain me the difference between:
- Ap Sys aux + DHW/solar pumps energy (MWh)
- Ap Sys heat rej fans/pumps energy (MWh)
These two columns appear in the monthly totals energy consumption of a model, and in the User Guide there is only a reference to:

Room Data System tab
Someone can help me to find the "Room Data System tab"? I read about it in the user guide: "When Mechanical Ventilation is selected, the rooms receiving mechanical ventilation should be indicated at room level on the Room Data System tab, under the heading ‘Ventilation & exhaust’." but I can't ...

Modelling window+raffstore
Hi, I'm modelling a sliding window that can be completely open in summer nights allowing free-cooling ventilation.
1) Is it possible to modelling, in the same window, a raffstore that comes down when the window is open to prevent night intrusion?
2) How can I set the shade of the raffstore, or an ...

Re: Correctly Modeling Infiltration
Hello,
can you link me please the User Guide where I can find some clarifications about the use of MacroFlo crack lenght OR Natural Ventilation in Building Template. I see that this post is old, it is yet valid also in IES-VE PRO 6.4.0.6?
Thank you very much.

Re: Check direction of construction walls
Thank you,
What is the main difference between using or not using "inner volume"? It's only about geometry of the model (shading calculation and model visualization)? If I don't use "inner volume", Apache will calculate my walls as if they are external to my boundary or if thikness is not ...
