In a old post was said that 0 is for a closed window or door and 1 for open ones. Does the same applies to internal shutters?

Modelling individual electric fans and heaters
Can anyone help me with the modelling of individual electric fans and electric heaters. Should I account for them in internal gains for the respective room, or there is any type of option in apache systems for such equipment.
