Hi,
in a parallel hung window, what is the angle of opening?
I assume these windows open parallely to the facade, so i don't know where to consider the angle.

Giovanni

modelling interstitial blinds in ventilated cavities
Hallo everyone,
I'm modelling a solar protection inside a ventilated facade.
The "Construction Database User Guide" proposes 2 methods for this:
1) Model the blind by using a fourth layer of glass but assigning the properties of the blind to this pane.
2) Model the cavity as a separate room. In ...

assign constructions to 100% glazed surface
Hallo everyone,
I have noted that even if one surface is 100% glazed, when I assign constructions the software still gives the possibility to assign "external wall" or "internal partition" kind of constructions (a part from external glazing and internal glazing).
It looks like that the software ...

Wind pressure on different orientations
Hallo everyone,
does VE automatically take into account surface orientation to calculate wind pressure?
Is there a way to display wind pressure on a specific orientation in the results?
As in "Macroflow opening type" I define just the exposure type I guess the orientation (facing North, South ...
