Use of Blinds within DSM for Part L2

Hi

I have noticed that in one of my models there is a a large reduction in the cooling load when blinds are added into a window construction, but then there is a noticeable increase in the heating load.

Is there a way of setting the blinds to be closed in the cooling season so that it reduced the ...

Hi,

I am using IES and JPA to perform SAP calculations. When the dwelling data is imported from IES to JPA the data from the constuction database manager that is assigned to the various elements is also imported.

Adding Text to Videos

Hi

I have created a video of a sunpath in Suncast to show where shadows will be cast. Is there a way of adding text into the video, for example the month, so that someone can easily understand what time period the video is showing them?

Re: Consecutive hours over a certain temperature

Thanks. Would you know if there is a way to find the number of consecutive hours above a benchmark temperature?

Consecutive hours over a certain temperature

Hi

I have been asked on a number of projects for the maximum period the temperature is above a certain benchmark temperature, or the maximum number of consecutive hours the temperature is above a stated temperature. Is there anyway of doing this?

Cooling System within a room

I have modelled a room within Apache, with a cooling system with a set point of 21 degrees.

When I run this, export the results to MicroFlo and run the simulation, the results for the air temperature are not at 21 as I would expect, but around 30.

I assume that the cooling system is not taken ...

Blinds on Internal Glazing

Hi,

I have a model where there is a room with a window and then a structure aound it similar to a conservatory, i.e. all glass. I am trying to model this window in the room with a blind, but when I go into the Project Constructions and try and introduce a blind the option is grey out. I assume ...

All Air Systes with Heating Only

Hi

In apache systems, is it possible to specify that there is no cooling in systems such as Constant Volume Systems. The system will be a ventilation system with just a LTHW heater battery installed.

If the above is not possible is there another way to specify this?

Thanks
