Is therIs there any way to retrieve set points from old resu

In Vista there is the option to generate a report, however, it is on the current results file.
Selecting an old results file does not change the report generated.

Basically I have run 100's of simulations, and I have kept track via an excel spread sheet, but I would like to retrieve some aspects of ...

Part of day or occupancy time graph

Hi all,

Is there any way to graph, or sum heating loads for part of a day?
I have run 100's of simulations, and I would like to analyze them to see what energy is used in the morning vs. night.
On the VistaPro main page, next to the date select, there is what looks to be a time selection option ...

Re: Heat Recovery problem

Hi Guys,

Did you come up with a solution to this problem?
I am trying to model a simple window heat exchanger system for a school classroom.

Regards,

Alan C

Micro flow opening threshold and formula based profiles

I have created a number of formula in the MicroFlow formula tool.
Example gt(ta,22,10) & lt(to,22,5) | gt(co2,800,200)
However, in the Microflow interface window there is an option to set the opening threshold temperature.
What effect does this have on my code, and how to i disable it's effect? e.g ...

Is there any way to retrieve set points from results files?

Hi all,

I am using IES to try and assess how much energy is required to maintain comfortable temperatures and climate conditions in schools in the Peruvian Andes region. I am assessing underfloor and radiator heating systems in 12 cities, with various occupancy schedules and number of students. I ...

Solar energy analysis showing no energy on surfaces

Hi Guys,

This might be something simple, but I have nun a number of solar analysis on my model without any problems, however, after making a small change in ModilIT a problem has developed (don't think I made any other changes). The simulation runs as normal, but when it loads in Model Viewer II no ...

Apache Sim (dynamic simulation) SunCast check-box

Hi all,

I have run and saved SunCast calculations as normal, however, when I open Apache Sim (dynamic simulation) in the Model links window the SunCast - calculations have not been preformed check box is grey (washed out). How do I link my SunCast simulation data to the Apache Sim?

Kind regards ...

Can I purge unused templates?

Hi All,

I was a bit eager when I started using IES for the first time, and I imported lots of templates (Apachie profiles, micro flow templates, construction databases etc). now when I go to adjust my model, which has all bespoke profiles, I have to scroll through literally 1000's of profiles to ...

Re: Problem loading TMY2 climate data

Hi Phil,

I spoke too soon, I achieved my project without ticking the box to include results files and re-opened the project. It is working fine now.
