because I cant go to this level of decomposition means I cannot work on my walls and cant specify/edit the wall variables

I have a model I built and so far so good
But I dont know what I have changed the opening - level of decomposition malfunctions. When I drop from 'Model' to 'Surface' it is ok. But from 'surface' to 'space' it doesnt happen Instead the drawing disappears and the indication is ...
