Can anyone tell me if the Radiance system can be used to determine the Vertical Sky Component for a vertical surface or window and if so how you go about doing this?

Can anyone tell me if the Radiace system can be used to determine the vertical sky component (VSC) for a vertical surface or window?
The user guides note what the VSC is but don't seem to tell you if the system can determine it or how.
Any help would be appreaciated
