Hi,
I am wondering if you could let me know your experiences about the correct way of doing or treating ceiling void the DSM calculation ?
Question: can I create a separate zone for the purpose of ceiling void/services void in EPC calculation for level 5 project carried via DSM tool?
I am aware ...

Thank you for your response,
Based on your explanation ; I assume you are saying that I should not turn off /edit aux vent profile to off continuous as the model will need to account heat loss associated with natural ventilation system , however ventilation rate here is treated as ...

AUX VENT in the DSM calculation
I would like to ask question about the Auxiliary ventilation rate in the DSM calculation.
Why does the software assign aux vent to naturally ventilated spaces ? are we allowed to turn vent profile off in the compliance calculation to disable vent rate in the actual building ?
Although I set zones ...

Thank you Complex Potential for your response above
Yes I do agree with you , where full design calculation is available , inference method should not be used as stated in the SBEM and EPC convention guide . Nevertheless this does not answer my concern regarding the use of lux method (W/m2/100 LUX ...

Lighting design input in the DSM calculation (ApacheSim)
Question : It has come to my attention that it occurs to be some discrepancies between actual design light efficacy value and software calculated values when lux method is in the UK DSM calculation. The actual design on paper appears to be more efficient than output from the model , can anyone ...
