Re: room creating with ModelIT

After going back and forth with issues like this I usually do a combination of separating spaces and combining spaces to get the shape I need. Just using the "separate with partitions" button and then connecting spaces, or to fill a void drawing a prism or other shape within and merging with ...

Re: Constant volume ventilation system

Hey, I haven't done any underfloor applications myself, though I know the people at IES have. The example I saw involved using some of the CFD tools to model the under floor velocities and stratification, from an energy balance standpoint I'm not sure if there is a difference between ceiling ...

Ground Contact Edge Insulation

Does anyone know if this can be defined in IES? When following the 90.1 PRM Navigator there is a selection for finding "above ground" then the "ground contact" for surface assignment.

Very small parameter I know, but it exists in a lot of our construction documents and would like to make sure it's ...

Export to gbXML?

Noticed the only output options currently available for IES projects/models are GEM/STL and DXF? I know a “veXML” is created with the google SketchUP plugin, is there any way to export all the high level data stored in an IES model into the gbXML format?

Most of my experience with gbXML has been ...
