Hi Sidny,
The ManchesterDSY05.fwt is a CIBSE Weather File for Part L DSM analysis in the VE Compliance module and has to be purchased (they aren't sharable).
I'd suggest phoning up our technical support team (or sending them in an email) if you want to purchase the file to use for VE Compliance ...

Re: Add Voids to selected space(s) tool
Hi Luke,
That's by design as I assumed that there wouldn't be any glazing required in the void space. I'll speak to the guy who's taken the tool off me and as that he change that and add in a toggle as you suggest.
For the moment if you...

Re: Apache error
hi,
Is there more content to the message?
Generally you'd see that if there was a weekly profile missing from the db (or referencing a missing daily profile) OR if somehow you had referenced a modulating profile when Apache was expecting an absolute profile (say a set-point).
David.

Re: Graphics Issue in ModelIT
hmmm... strange one.
My immediate thought would be that the graphics card on the laptop can't handle the second monitor fully (with the resolution set). I'm not writing out an issue in ModelIT but I'm pretty sure it's not that (unless it's something to do with the way we use the Windows GDI but I ...

Re: CIE overcast sky
Hello,
No that is not possible in SunCast.
Suncast assumes a clear sky and produces an input file for Apache which has data for which surfaces on the outside of the building are shaded and which internal surfaces receive direct sunlight. Apache then reads the solar data input file from SunCast and ...

Weird - worked on initial testing and preview... acht well.
I've edited the link above and should now work.

Re: Complex window copy and paste
Thanks BT.
I've made some updates to the ModelIT guide and am waiting on it being uploaded to the main site so have posted it here:
http://upload.iesve.com/uploads/staff/7700/ModelIT.pdf
There's still a lot of work to be done but it's got key-ins and new features added.
David.

Re: Complex window copy and paste
Hi all,
Yes, this means you can copy and paste on to other surfaces in other zones.
Quick demo here:

I'm updating the ModelIT manual that will be online Mon/Tue this week.
I'll also be looking at moving it out of just a key-in ...

Re: topography etc
I'd suggest topographical shade (if you want to actually model it). However, if you set the adjacent condition of the sub-grade space to be "from profile" Apache will not consider any solar hitting that surface.
