Re: System frame usage
Hi
Yes, currently you are limited to reuse of the library prototype systems.
You could replace any of the frame contents, but cannot resize the frame. (So maybe choose one of the larger frame Systems).
There are plans in the pipeline for a facility to create new system frames.
Regards
Donald

Re: Error: CHP Profile: no definition found...
This is a known issue, targeted to be fixed in VE2018.
The workaround is to create an environment variable called IES_ALL_PROFILES on your machine. (Value is arbitrary)

Re: WAHP Fuel Limitation
Unfortunately, this is a current limitation.
However, in the VE2017 release the current fuels will be replaced by 'Energy end uses and meters'.
Under this scheme, a WAHP will have separate Heating energy meter and Cooling energy meter.
It will also be possible to distinguish between Space heating ...

Apologies that this feature remains broken. We hope to fix it for an upcoming release.
In the meantime you have the option to switch between manually edited .wea files (in project's Apache subfolder).

Re: Software Crash in 2016
A patch for this bug is available from IES Support.
This will also be included within the next official Hotfix.
(Sorry this query hasn't been picked up earlier.)

Re: Missing Heating Load
I believe the sizing buttons on toolbar would only be greyed out in two scenarios:
- You are in the waterside display mode: simply switch back to airside display
- Your network filename is set to 'UNKNOWN'.

Sorry Allan, but this feature is currently broken. We hope to fix it for an upcoming release.
In the meantime you have the option to switch between manually edited .wea files (in project's Apache subfolder).
To check the current .wea file has been correctly formatted, see that ApLocate will open ...
