Hi CP,

I have just found this as I'm searching for some answer for luminous efficacy conversion into watts...might start a new thread.
In the past I have been inputting lighting values into to software in Watts mostly because I was given lighting layouts, luminaries schedules and design lux levels ...

Apologies for the long reply. I am also modeling a building with a large underground car park. My understanding was similar to yours that a car park is now excluded from the heated/occupied activities as per a note under the section 3.04 stating ‘Removed from the Issue 5 1 September 2014 ...

Well, surprisingly my accreditation body belongs to the respected building services institution... :roll: . Probably worth checking with everybody's else accreditation bodies. It saves a lot of time to enter lighting this way.

Recently I obtained a lighting calculation from another consultancy on Part L compliance. It contains weighted average results in lumens per circuit watts per luminaire - the total luminaire lumens per circuit is divided by the total circuit-watts.
