Hi All,
I can't understand what is happening but I've created an HVAC network and done the dynamic simulation with the ApacheHVAC link selected. When I load vista, I get the error Cannot Load HVAC network and there is no results data for my network.
Does anyone know what has happened here?
Thanks ...

PRM Zoning
Hi All,
I'm looking for some advice on Zoning in the 90.1 PRM navigator. Is the navigator set up to automatically zone the building based on HVAC systems because of the way you put the systems into ApacheHVAC. Does it just consider each multiplex or each individual system set up to be a thermal ...

Re: How does IES calculate fresh air loads
Thanks for the response. That does help. I have another question on the same topic.
When I go into vista, what is the best way to take out the fresh air load for heating and fresh air for cooling?

How does IES calculate fresh air loads
Hi all,
I'm looking to understand how IES is actually calculating the fresh air loads.
Inputs are floor area, occupancy, outside air supply rate (or aux vent depending on how you want to input the information) , occupancy profile and outdoor conditions based on the ApLocate information and ...

Re: Fresh air loads
Thanks for the clarification, that makes more sense now. If I want to completely separate fresh air loads then I guess it's better to set it as a building load rather than room load.

Fresh air loads
Hi, I'm looking to clarify how to best model the fresh air loads in a building. There is the auxiliary ventilation under the 'air exchanges' tab in the thermal templates. Also under the 'systems' tab there is the 'building outside air supply'. Which one is telling IES how much fresh air is required ...

Simulation weather data clarification
I'm having trouble getting to the bottom of how the weather files are used in IES. There is the design weather data tab. I believe this data is used for the outdoor design conditions when doing Apache load calcs? So what exactly is the simulation weather data used for? It it only for the solar gain ...
