Just to add - if when you attach the dxf the model is far from the origin then you should set the origin in the drawing before it's exported (ensure the bottom left corner of the building is at (0,0,0). Alternatively just draw the model anyway then move the whole thing over to the ...

I'm new to the site so please be patient...
When I attach my first floor DXF file and start the model it process the building seems to be far away, i.e. not directly ontop of the ground floor....
