Thanks Terence, I was just groaning at the thought of having to pay out to buy these new files but knowing that they're not needed for Part L / EPC has made me thing I'll continue without them for a little while yet.
Thanks,
John

Re: TM52
I've also experienced differences between the IES TM52 calculations and my own. I've put this down to differences in the way IES and my own spreadsheets deal with occupancy periods and a difference between Operative temperature and Dry Resultant Temperature. Re: Custom Variables/Filter Backup
I created a custom variable to let me have the floor area of a room available as Vista variable. Unfortunately the floor area reported by my custom variable is a little different to that reported by ModelIT (with either inner volumes switched on or off). Also, don't forget that the 2010 and 2013 regulations use different CO2 emission fuel factors. That alone would cause your BER to change between runs.

Re: Input Data Visualisation - Room Groups
Hi Phil,
I think having the option in IDV would be a more 'complete' solution...but having the ceilings as per the external walls would also work.
Thanks,
John

Input Data Visualisation - Room Groups
Could you please add the option to Input Data Visualisation to colour the building using room groupings? This would add a lot of flexibility in the way we can present model set-up.
Alternatively, when setting the model to be coloured 'By Room Group' could you get it to also colour the internal ...

Re: Custom Variables/Filter Backup
Hi Dany,
Out of interest, what are the custom variables you use? I've never really bothered with them.

I had the same problem when I first installed it, but it corrected itself shortly after.
