There is really nothing about the file itself that I could imagine would cause a problem. I just sketched a box...
I have unfortunately created more problems for myself by running IESClean.exe (my license was still counting down?) and now have only the model viewer.

Unfortunately none of these recommendations have resolved the issue. My PC exceeds minimum standards. I am running the project file from a location on C:\PROJECTS with full administrator privileges. I have recently purchased a student version of IES-VE and so understand I don't have access to technical support.
