No heating and cooling after export to v6.1.1

Post by Terence »

If you have performed a compliance simulation on a project that was exported back to v6.1.1 then you may notice you have no heating and cooling demand or energy consumption, either on the BRUKL Certificate

or when viewing the results in Vista

This happens because the Heating & Cooling unit capacity (entered on the systems tab) has been set to zero. For Compliance in VE 2013 it defaults to “Unlimited” but the user can edit it in v6.1.1

To resolve highlight all rooms in the model and select Edit Group Attributes.

Move to the Systems tab and select Simulation heating unit capacity (kW) & Simulation cooling unit capacity (kW) and tick on “Unlimited” for both and select OK.

You will now see the heating and cooling demand (assuming you have a cooing system, this example doesn't).
