Modules Bundled w/ Student Version of IESVE

Hi,

I think a very on-point question, which ought to matter to all prospective student users of IESVE is: (a) exactly which modules are bundled with the student version of the program and (b) if one or more modules can be added and/or removed from an active student license.

I have yet to stumble upon a clear answer to the above concerns online.

Hi,

the student version is a single seat of all VE modules except for the compliance regulations applications, it is intended for use to supplement your studies for instance allowing full model building capability, apache simulation and loads analysis, SunCast shading study, RadianceIES or FlucsDL for daylight analysis and more.

It can not be customised so you don't have an option to add extra seats or change what applications you have access to without purchasing a commercial licence

Note: this is the student version for home use, many departments have their own network licenses they purchase for use of students attending courses and so might have a different configuration.
