Dynamic Shading

Post by efarefar »

Hi All,

I want to run a thermal simulation to analyse the effect of shading [louvres] which change position every hour.
Since the minimum range for the simulation is one day, is there any way I can do this?

Thanks

You could point your internal or external shading to a schedule, call percentage profile group in the shading dialog, which then either has a predefined schedule of opening percentage per hour, or is based on an equation to do what you need.

I am not sure I have understood the question, but anyway you can set the simulation step from 1 to 10 minutes and reporting interval from 6 to 60 minutes. So, no problem..
