Display Lighting Power Density difficult to achieve

Post by Terence »

A common query raised by users is why the BRUKL flags their display lighting power density as red when the efficacy passes.

Both the efficacy and power density reported are taken from the user inputted efficacy on the Space Data > Building Regs > NCM Lighting tab under the display lighting inputs.

What we have found is that the limit of 0.3 W/m2 is basically impossible to achieve with a user inputted efficacy of 1100 lumens per circuit watt required to comply.

If you have complied through the efficacy then that is enough to satisfy the requirements for display lighting though.
