What does this mean? Ive checked my model and i get no errors except when i go down to surfaces on the area. Which is the roof part with those shed rooflights. Never had this message before. IES would be useful if it told you what that means.
Vertices coincident?
Vertices coincident?
One or more vertices in space {FBN0002} are coincident

Re: Vertices coincident?
It means you have two or more points (vertices) that are in the same position. I believe this usually happens if you use the 'drag face' feature so that one of the side walls completely disappears (difficult concept to describe in text).
For example, if you take an L shaped zone, and then drag the face at the end of the L so that the room now becomes rectangular, you effectively reduced one of the surfaces to having a zero volume. The vertices (the corner points of the surface) effectively occupy the same coordinates. IES doesn't like this.

Re: Vertices coincident?
I've noticed this error can occur when a space has been sliced into two parts and then left connected as one zone. If this is the case then try seperating the composite spaces out and see if it deals with the error.
Re: Vertices coincident?
Ah,
I have a zigzag roof which i merged onto a square box workshop space. I will seperate teh spaces and see what happens. Thanks.
