Modelling a swimming pool

Hi everyone,

Im relatively new so apologies if this is a silly question.

Im trying to model a swimming pool how it is explained below but i cant draw a flat window, VE will only let me add a window on a vertical surface and i can assign a window construction as the model reads the surface as an internal ceiling.
