Hi, I want to import the gbXML file created from Revit 2014 to IES.
But it came with error during the time the content was loading. There was a notice said that "VE MFS application has stopped working."
It came with 3 options:
1 check online for a solution
2 close the program
3 debug the program
Can anyone help me? thank you so much!

Re: Problem about importing Revit 2014 Arch model to IES 6.0
For a successful import the guidance set out in the Revit White Paper must be followed.
Revit 2010 and IES Whitepaper: http://www.iesve.com/content/mediaasset ... idance.pdf
Advanced Revit Tips for Better Translation: http://www.iesve.com/content/mediaasset ... itTips.pdf
VE 2013 Feature Pack 1 and later versions will have a significant improvement in the success rate of filling in missing surfaces.
VE 2013 feature pack 1 also gives more control over whether or not to attempt to tidy bad room geometry, whether or not to include space boundaries on columns, set a minimum area for a space boundary to be included, and set a maximum space boundary count for tidying difficult rooms.
It's worth pointing out that bad space boundary data in the gbXML (missing surfaces, duplicated surfaces, unmatched edges, inverted surfaces) is responsible for nearly all the problems we have in importing.

Version 6.0?
Do I smell a cracked version?

presumably the reference was to 6.4.0.12 (the internal version number for VE 2013)
