Hi Ayesha,

The new features are within RadianceIES – one of our Lighting modules.

These features are in a BETA form at the moment therefore are subject to updates/changes.

The Spatial Daylight Autonomy (sDA) has been introduced as a requirement of LEED and other design criteria. I have attached a guidance document which refers to the Priority for Schools ((Schools in England and Wales can apply for public funding via this process) which considers Daylight Autonomy (DA) and Useful Daylight Illuminance (UDI).

To run the sDA follow the same procedure –
1. Build model then go into Radiance
2. Select the Dynamic Simulation BETA tab
3. Run simulation – this can be run for 1 year /month/day….using the drop-down
4. When the simulation is complete, click Process
5. Select output options from the “Process Annual WP date” dialog box

I hope this helps.

Kind Regards
Rosemary
