Interface between MEP 2009 to IESVE 6.0?

IES's specially developed Revit plug-in Toolbar allows Revit Architecture and MEP users to import their 3D BIM model into IES's software and undertake sustainable performance analysis.

Interface between MEP 2009 to IESVE 6.0?

Post by kokaka »

Is there any plugin or interface between the drawings comeplted in MEP2009 drawings into IESVE 6.0. I am wondering is there any way we could interface the 2 softwares(both MEP & IES ) like REVIT or SKETCHUP to IESVE

Your thoughts would be appreciated

Cheers

Hi Kiran,

I guess you are already aware of the IES plug-ins for Revit, compatible with Revit Architecture and MEP 2008, 2009, 2010?

Do you mean AutoCAD MEP? We don't have a direct plug-in for this so the best way of passing the drawings to <VE> would be to export from AutoCAD into Revit or SketchUp and then use the plug-in from there. Alternatively if you have DXF of the floor plans import this directly to <VE> and use ModelIT to draw the model, shouldn't take you too long.

Hope this helps, any further questions just let me know
