Heat gain from lighting

Post by myope »

Hi all,

When I input lighting power for internal gain, I normally use 11W/m2 as our regulation, equal to T8, so by default heat gain will be 11W/m2 too. But an adviser from Trane said that, it should use 50% of 11W/m2 for heat gain from lighting, I think it's very reasonable.

What do you think ?

You edit the radiant fraction for the heat gain. Radiant fractions for most lamp types are found within cibse guides and i think in ApacheTables too will be found radiant fractions for lighting.
