Will there be a new version of ies by then? Terence mentioned above early April? SBEM for new regs was updated and released a few months ago

We hope to have VE 2014, both DSM & VE-SBEM, approved for Part L 2013 before 6th May.

The version of iSBEM you refer to was a "sneak preview" version released by BRE. It was not to be used on live projects and it wasn't the final approved version. BRE released what they consider to be the final version of iSBEM on 3rd April.

We will post here as soon as we know if the Virtual Environment has been approved for Part L 2013.

As the 6th of May approaches in only a couple of working days is there any news on a release date for the new version of software or how the decision went with the CLG?

I asked our developers this morning and they said we are very close to getting both VE-SBEM & DSM approved for Part L 2013 so it should hopefully be released soon.

VE 2014 is now available to download. It includes the approved SBEM & DSM solutions for Part L2 2013.

The regs have been out all summer, no plan to include Green Deal although that may change if we were forced by regulations or if there was enough demand I suppose.
