Input Data Visualisation - Custom Colours

Post by RossThompson87 »

Hi,

I'm very pleased with the new input data visualisation feature.

I give it a lot of use for showing architects the constructions / U-values applied to models.

However the colors are allocated almost at random, and on my current project existing and new build walls have come out almost exactly the same shade of purple. Ideally I would like a strong contrast.

Can a feature be added so we can pick the color ourselves for each shading category?

Thanks

I have passed this to feedback@iesve.com so the enhancement request can be properly considered (don't see why you couldn't have some control over this colouring)

Have a look at the Shading Patterns button as well, this is for cases where the default colours set isn't enough for all the different options displayed. I t might be in your case (sounds like it) that it is applying a "different colour" but worth trying ti anyway in case it helps to distinguish
