Can I delete multiple holes in one go?
Problem is I'm having my first attempt at using a revit model for IES and it isn't going great.
I've deleted all mullions and columns within revit (I made a local model and dettached from central 1st) and deleted all spaces with geometry errors so I can rebuild them. However every single space seems to have been unbounded at ceiling level. all my ceilings are holes. obviously I can go in each room level and delete these holes but there is around 100 hundred of them.
I was wondering if there is a function to delete all holes.
Cheers

None that I know of, sorry.
I've never found a single example where importing a model worked out as less hassle than simply building it myself.

Re: Delete multiple holes/rooflights
Well I found that it was easier to edit in revit,
It was a case of ensuring all the rooms were bounded by the upper level/roof and ensuring there was no offset.
Then ensuring all the roofs/floors walls were room bounding.
Still I got the model to work, but it was a major hassle, strange inner volume representation which caused strange internal conduction gains.
moral of the story i will be building my models from scratch from now on.
So much for BIM.

Re: Delete multiple holes/rooflights
The command "rmopen=1" will delete all openings with an area less than 1m2. "rmopen=5" will delete all less than 5m2, etc. etc.
Perhaps you could have used that?

I'm with CP on this. Its easier to use ModelIT. Hell architects cant even be relied upon to draw on the same plane let alone get a whole 3d model correct with no leaks.
