I am creating various room templates in building template manager and assigning each room template to corresponding information like building regs, room conditions, system (apache system info), internal gains and air exchange rates. During the Part L cacls or load calculations each room template is addressing the default apache system only but not to relevant apache system. Can some one put me in right directions with your thoughts?
Cheers

Hey man,
You're not setting it up right.
Sounds like you might have set your Templates up to point at differnet HVAC systems but not applied the Template to your rooms.

Hi,
This should be pretty basic stuff so I'll assume you're new (you won't mind me posting a link and suggesting training at the end).
You can add as many new templates to the Building Template Manager as you like. Assign them in any thermal application e.g. Apache or VE Compliance. Select the room/set of rooms that you want to apply the template to and then click the "Assign room thermal template to selection set" button on the toolbar above the workspace, then you can choose the Thermal template you want from the dropdown that appears.
Seriously though, if possible look into some training. We offer web based or face to face and it is the fastest way to gain proficiency with VE. http://www.iesve.com/TrainingUK/.
