Apache Simulation after SketchUp import

Post by olitirado »

Hi,

I've been modelling in SketchUp 8 and then importing to IES VE Pro 2013. Whenever I try to run apache simulation it stops and says 'System cannot find specified route' and it forces me to stop my analysis. Do you know what's wrong? is it the import from SketchUp or my IES VE Pro?

Thanks,
Oli

HI Oli,

I expect it will be the path/project name after importing from SketchUp. When you bring the model in from SketchUp try doing a Save As and ensure it is saved on the C: Drive of your machine with a fairly short filename and path then try run the sim again.

I am aware that some users have experienced difficulties running simulations with a project saved on a network drive so make sure you aren't doing that.
