2 licences needed for PartL 2010 and Part L2013

Post by jerry »

Although VE2014 can handle both sets of regs, avoiding the need to run two version of the software during the transition period, you need to buy TWO licences in order to do so. Which they don't mention when you renew. Just wasted an hour this morning attempting to find out why I was being asked for more money even though I have just paid my renewal for Part L.

Hi Jerry,

Sorry if you feel this was unexpected but the support team along with our sales representatives do everything we can to ensure users are fully informed about the changes for new regulations. This includes mail shots, direct emails, road shows and posts on our user forum. I created a post myself answering some commonly asked questions, you can view it here

As covered in that post, the updated regulations are discounted for a period for those who already have Part L2 2010 DSM.
